My name is Lam Nguyen, and I am a software engineer currently living in Austin, Texas. I attended Purdue University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphic Technology. I enjoy creating interactive and dynamic web applications with beautiful user interface. I am a passionate and hard-working individual who strives to get better at what I do everyday. In my free time, I like to learn new technologies and dev tools to keep up with current trends in the tech industry. I am a laid-back person, and I love being active such as playing sports and working out.

Software Engineer
- Led the frontend effort on the Galileo project where I contributed as a frontend lead in building a web application that enables Apple Care Team Managers across the globe to effectively manage their team.
- Galileo is used by more than 5000 Team Managers to coach Customer Service Advisors with their everyday tasks. Team Managers are able to increase their team’s productivity by maximizing advisors’ time on the service lines, thus increasing issue resolutions and customer satisfaction.
- Acting as a team lead, I manage a team of 2 frontend engineers. I help mentor my team and serve as a guide to help them meet deadlines in a timely manner without compromising code quality. Additionally, I collaborate with a UI/UX designer to come up with high fidelity mock-ups for features that the frontend team would be implementing.
- I work with the business team, product owner, project manager, backend team, and other stakeholders to gather requirements; then come up with a plan, delegate tasks to team members, implement solutions, carry out testings and code reviews, and provide post-release support.

- Leveraged NetSuite’s ERP system and their eCommerce platform, SuiteCommerce Advanced, to implement eCommerce solutions for over a dozen of clients.
- Employed JavaScript, HTML/CSS, BackboneJS, Sass & Bootstrap to build custom features based on clients’ business needs on top of SuiteCommerce Advanced platform.

- I spent a year on the Datto project building a custom application with the Datto engineering team that leveraged the brand new feature from NetSuite ERP called SuiteBilling.

- Took ownership of the promotional code feature and successfully implemented a solution that allows users to stack their promo codes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in NetSuite SuiteScript by writing various Node.js scripts to access and manipulate records and user information in the ERP system to support Datto’s business process.
